for those interested in the 68040 MVME162, i've put a binary snapshot
of a port on theos.com:/pub/mvme68k. this code will run on a MVME162
using either netboot (rarp/bootparams/tftp) or scsi disk booting. it
will also netboot on a MVME147 (i don't think the scsi driver works).

the code mostly supports the MVME167 but my kernel tree is missing a
few small hacks. i don't have a MVME167, but have been working with
someone who does have one. the cl-cd2400 serial port drivers for the
MVME166/167/177 aren't done yet, so there is a `beautiful' hack in
place.

the source code is completely different from the mvme68k port in the
netbsd tree.

for what it is worth, a 25MHz 68040 16M MVME162 with a 4G Quantum
Grand Prix does a `make build' in around 9 hours. that's the slowest
68040/68060 board Motorola makes...

if anyone has an MVME177, MVME165, or MVME166, i'd like to hear from
them. it shouldn't be too hard to support those models either.
