I removed the "new" SIMMs and never saw this again, so the problem was
probably caused by bad RAM.  With ECC, I would hope the system didn't
die of RAM errors, though.

For various reasons, I'm running centos linux on dom0 at the moment
(with new SIMMs).  I got the gpvpl drivers working in winxp domU,
but network and disk I/O in NetBSD domU's is now a lot slower than
with a NetBSD dom0.
