What's strange is that the reset fails. This should not happen, unless
the drive stops responding to the bus.
Another way for this to happen would be the controller stopping forwarding
register read/writes to the disk.
Is the ixpide controller a SATA controller ? If so maybe the PHY got down
for some reason. Maybe you'd have better luck using it in AHCI mode ...
