Hello. I hav a NetBSD-4_RC2 system, with kernel from the 20071001
snapshot, and 3.0 userland. It has a new Atheros minicci card in it,
product ID 0x001a, and I'm trying to get it to work.
Although the card seems to be recognized, and I can see apps around
me, I can't seem to associate with any of them. Turning on hw.ath0.debug
with sysctl shows me it's discarding a lot of AUTH packets. My wireless
access point is not using encryption and is not restricting access based on
mac address. Any ideas? Do I need to use sysctl to turn off some sort of
authorization sequence that the 80211 link layer protocol is trying to
impose?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

-Brian
