The entire reason I was gonna switch this customer from FreeBSD to NetBSD
is that FreeBSD can't do SMP without ACPI on this hardware, and the hardware's
ACPI implementation causes permanent hangs during device probes if the onboard
SCSI is enabled.  Well, maybe I'll turn on ACPI on NetBSD and see whether the
NetBSD implementation works; if not, it's back to debugging FreeBSD's ACPI
implementation, because at least everything ELSE works flawlessly there.
