Hi port-i386,

First of all im not sure if i am right here with the little problem i have (though its not a real problem more a optimization thing).

My Laptop has the Centrino stuff with a 1.4 Pentium M Processor. Therefore i use the estd for the Enhanced Speedstep. This works pretty fine, though the duration of my Laptop Battery is still more then short with aproximately 2 hours.

For advanced Power Management i compiled NetBSD-current with ACPI support enabled and am using the powerd-Deamon. Still i have absolutley no configs for ACPI thus not using it.

Now i wanted to ask what further steps to make to enhance Battery Durability, and if someone has some proper configs for the ACPI stuff.

Thanks
John
