   I got an i386 Centrino and my only problem is the same.

   I was playing with KERNEL config file and wsconsctl but i cant get
any other modes, just 80x25, if i change that, i get just some weird
blocks on my console and i cant see anything.

   I have no clue on what to do, cause the rcons driver is deprecated
and i cant find any information about using RASTER_CONSOLE to change the
resolution and depth.
