The only way you'll get that chipset to work with any *nix is to load the
Windows driver in Linux, using the NDIS wrapper hack.

Broadcom has what is possibly the worst support stance possible. They
depend entirely upon vendors to release drivers, and release no docs -
this despite Broadcom's recent claims of being "supportive of the
open-source community." Of course, they're still only referring to their
(half-assed) Linux support.

It's unbelievably annoying to have an onboard Broadcom chipset on my
laptop, but because of no support whatsoever, I need a wireless PC card
too.
