I did a search on google and this turned up:

Maybe it's related?

Hi,

the fxp driver tried to disable Dynamic Standby on an 865pe board with
an
82562EZ ship and that chip has a different eeprom layout, so this patch
will actually kill
the pci id that is saved in the eeprom for the lan chip.

the intel paper 29824221 states this should be done for the 82562ET chip
which has different eeprom layout then
82562EZ ergo trouble.

I guess this should be fixed pretty quick and I hope I get my board back
soon.......

Greetings,
Lars
