Heh, that's not actually an error, but is printed by the kernel at
the end of configuration and when interrupts are being started.

The fact it doesn't do anything more after that is an error.

Some more details would help, but there are some things you could try:

 - play with bios settings for interrupts and/or acpi 
 - make sure it's not just bad floppy media
