Then, on second thoughs, could it be that the VT83C572 pins are not 
connected to
the external connectors, only the USB 2.0 lines  (if those actualle 
exist)? Too bad that i have no idea about
the implementation of USB 2.0/1.1 in that Southbridge and what is 
connected externally.
