So I have a laptop, and it has a pretty neat feature where it will
suspend on lid-close, and awaken on lid-open. I'd like to set it
up to waken on lid-open, but require an explicit suspend rather
that have it happen automatically.

Is there a way to do this? I think I *could* do some hackery in
/etc/apm/suspend (exiting with non-zero?), but it's a bit gross.

Might the new ACPI stuff provide this kind of control?
