I noted that the WSDISPLAYIO_SVIDEO ioctl of wsdisplay appears to have
no impact on some of my hardware (i.e. the value gets set but the
screen shows no effect), and works as advertised on other
machines. Anyone have any idea why this may be?

Also, I note that the ioctl doesn't seem to allow one to fully turn
off the display in the VESAish manner on the machines it does work
on. Anyone have any ideas on this?
