That's good... if it was that.

The problem reminded me about bad tp-cables. We were about 7 people in a
apartement using a 10mbit HUB.. everyone had full 10mbit... but we wanted
100mbit instead, so we switched the HUB to a 100mbit HUB. It was almost
good... but when two people leeched from each other the other got no
speed... so we switched the HUB to a 10/100mbit switch instead. All got
full 100mbit but one... he got around 400kbit at most... we switched
between two ports and the speed went up to 3.5Mbit... strange... then we
switched cables to new ones. Then, at last, the speed was at full 100mbit
(depending on HD-usage).
