/usr/mdec/installboot is the i386 installboot, whose sources are in
src/sys/arch/i386/stand/installboot/.

/usr/sbin/installboot is the new multi-machine installboot, whose
sources are in src/usr.sbin/installboot/.  The new installboot does not
yet work for the i386.
