I have 3 NetBSD machines, all connected with 10 base-T, call them A, B,
and C.

A's FTP throughput get (bits going into machine) 110 KB/sec
put (bits leaving machine) 60 KB/sec

B's is around 950KB/sec, get or put
C's is around 560KB/sec, get or put

A is cpu0: AMD Athlon Model 4 (Thunderbird) (686-class), 1100.14 MHz
      epic0 at pci0 dev 12 function 0: SMC 83c170 Fast Ethernet, rev. 9

B is cpu0: AMD K6 (586-class), 233.88 MHz
      tlp0 at pci0 dev 17 function 0: DECchip 21041 Ethernet, pass 2.1

C is cpu0: Intel Pentium (P54C) (586-class), 99.92 MHz
      ne2 at pci0 dev 7 function 0: RealTek 8029 Ethernet

"A" used to be very fast, and I don't think I changed anything, but now
it's pretty slow.

Any suggestions on how I can track down this performance problem?

Thanks! -Mike
