Something odd just happened.  On the first virtual console
I was building some software.  I tried to log in on the
second console and suddenly the first console filled with
the message...

Pagedaemon: Deadlock detected!

                                  ...or something similar.
I had to hit the machine's reset button.  This has never
happened to me before.  I'm running 1.5.3. I would welcome
suggestions regarding what might have caused this.
