Hi,

(I've abandoned trying to get NetBSD 1.6 running on my 1.3 G HD, even though
W98se loads up and runs on it just fine. Thanks everybody for all the help,
but the problem seems very strange.)

So I tried upgrading a previous install on a different (bigger) HD.

It seemed to be going just fine, but even though I used the bootlap[12].fs
floppies, it seems to have installed the GENERIC kernel.

The downside of this is that my xi0 interface is no longer recognized, so
I can't connect to my network.

Is there some way to get sysinst to use kern-GENERIC_LAPTOP when I boot
with bootlap[12].fs floppies?

Thanks! -Mike
