please first check chip name of "RAID IDE" controller of this motherboard.
possibly there are true IDE RAID chips soldered on some motherboard, but i
don't know any.

BTW if you need RAID0&RAID1 only it needs almost no CPU power with
raidframe, but 2 times more memory bandwidth for RAID1 writes.
if you need RAID0 only use ccd(4)
