Thanks, I'll try this.

The reason I am asking at all is that Lennarts older patch as well as=20
a patch by K.... don't work with my Bosses' laptop and 1.6_BETA1 sources,
while they worked woth 1.5ZD sources. ... so I started searching my
netbsd-i386 archive for "ACPI" ...
