...is there anyway to re-read dmesg from the install floppies after the
sysinst has started?  from the emergency shell, i don't see a copy in
/var/run/dmesg.boot or anything in userland to permit re-reading, but i
imagine there's an obvious trick i'm missing.

in 'another BSD os that doesn't use wscons' you can just hit scroll-lock
and use pkgup/pkgdown to read up on the console.

...i'm trying to debug why the pciide0 controller is detected, but not the
virtual hard-drives on my SunPCi2 card in my Sun Ultra-5.  I imagine it's
some tickery and black magic Sun thought up.  i'd like to get a dmesg and
submit a send-pr, but first things first.

..oddly enough the onboard SIS NIC is detected, so I suppose i could do a
diskless firewall or something.
