Is anyone using a Platypus Technologies QikDrive 'solid state disk
drive' with NetBSD?

From what I can tell, it's a PCI card with a bunch of DIMM slots
that masquerades as a hard disk. The obvious thing would be for
it to just present itself to the BIOS as an IDE controller with a
small HD attached, but it's not clear to me from their web site
that that's what they do, and I'm told it comes with "drivers" for
Linux and assorted flavors of Windows, which set off some alarm
bells. So thought It would be wise to check and see if anyone has
any actual experience with one. They're at http://www.platypus.net
