I have yet to hear of a motherboard with hardware IDE raid support.  All
of these are just dual channel chips with BIOS RAID drivers.  It is funny
how this is such a great "feature" these days.  The "MR BIOS" from Microid
Research had IDE RAID support back in the pentium days.
