Oh, one more interesting thing about the 206E version of this
beastie. This Transmeta web page:

claims that

    The lightweight notebook runs Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition,
    and is also designed to support Linux as an alternative operating
    system. A switch on the side of the unit allows instantaneous change
    between Windows Me and Linux, perfect for applications like MP3
    player and FTP client.

The 206E looks like it's probably just to be the English version of the
206 (I would suspect it's a 206 with the English keyboard and English
software), so presumably this feature appears on the 206 as well.
