Now that I've finished my Master's, I have some time to devote to a project
like this. The FAQ was fun for the 10 years I did it, but there are so many
other sources of good information available, so it didn't seem prudent to do
more than keep a copy of it around.

If there is interest in some co-authoring, I'd gladly do the writing and the
remaining research for the book. There's only two catches:

	1) I'm not going to produce a 'published' book. It will probably be a big
PDF file when I get done, but I'm not really interested in getting it
published.

	2) I'm going to need help (significant help) from the people that actually
drive the systems internals. I have the education to be able to document
this stuff, but not the background or the breadth on the specifics of 'our'
operating system.

If anyone thinks this is a good idea (signified by "I'd be glad to help you
with that"), please let me know.

Dave Burgess
