This isn't really related to your problem, but I noticed awhile back
that mkhybrid had been merged with mkisofs, which is itself now a part
of the cdrecord package. If you want to get any recent bugfixes, new
features, etc, you might want to install cdrecord (if you haven't
already), and use mkisofs instead.

Here's the README file from the mkhybrid website listed in the
Makefile in pkgsrc:
