the card is a SOHOware 32-bit 10/100 cardbus PC card
the machine is a inspiron 3200 from Dell.

attaches :

When I try to use it I get:
tlp0: interrupting at 11
  and lots of:
tlp0: transmit process failed to idle: state RUNNING - FETCH
tlp0: revieve process failed to idle: state RUNNING - FETCH

and some of:
tlp0: filter setup and transmit timeout



this is with the laptop install disk...  relevent parts of dmesg
