I've tried using Windows 2000 and NetBSD and having NetBSD mount an
msdosfs partition maintained by Win2k.  The msdosfs partition
definitely winds up with stuff in it that NetBSD doesn't like, and if
you persist in using it, it's possible for it to get slightly
corrupted.  I'm pretty sure I had the partition table and disklabel
set up correctly.   I didn't have time to really debug this,
unfortunately.
