I'm running 1.5B on my IBM ThinkPad 350 (486SL 25, 8M of RAM). I plugged a
PCMCIA ethernet card into it and did an FTP install. One could also do NFS
installs over the network. If you don't have a PCMCIA ethernet card, you
can still do (slower) network installs with a null modem. And of course,
you can install with floppy disks.
