I know how this acts. It was just a suggestion. I had trouble with my mopd
some time ago, and turning on the promisc-mode helped, cause it received
every package (broadcast, too). And he said, that if he turns on tcpdump
everything works. And tcpdump sets the interface into promisc-mode, thus I
thought it should work...
