I've been trying to RTFM and even use the source on this one, but I'm
simply not having any luck with things.

I've got a 486 ISA bus machine with 2 network cards, a WD8013EPC Ethernet
at we1 (port 0x300 iomem 0xcc000 irq 10) and a 3Com 3C509 (unknown
settings). As far as I can tell, there are no IRQ conflicts, and the
install floppy (at least the 4M one) is OK with things.

However, I cannot get the 1.4.1 netboot.com to boot this system when
compiled with either WD/we? support or with 3C509 support within
netboot. Each time I run the program under IBM PC-DOS 7 (no memory
managers or such active that I can tell), it complains that EtherInit
fails.

Can anyone suggest a good starting point to read how to get netboot working?

Thanks,
David
