I have seen this on every NetBSD system since 1.4 . I was using 1.3.2 and this
was not happening. It does not interfere with anything however it only leaves a
bunch of colors and weirdness on the screen. the prompt / shell still operates
good. if I type $ clear it goes away ...  but this is no big deal to me as It
does not interfere with anything but the way it looks for a breif moment .
