I have tried to install 1.4 on my laptop, several times,
from a fresh install to an upgrade from 1.3.3.  I have
had every problem mentioned so far in the mail lists
(device full, floating exception, phantom ide controllers and
hard drives, failure of the new kernel to boot) and a few more!

I'm just wondering if there are any fixes to any of the problems?
