Don't. The "not configured" error means not that the device NODE isn't
there, but that the device behind the node isn't there. No amount of
MAKEDEV will work.

NetBSD-current (and 1.4) use a new console system, called wscons. ttyv?
isn't used anymore, and you want to use ttyE? instaed. Look at the sample
/etc/ttys in the -current etc.tgz for an example.
