The 'not configured' part isn't the problem - it's a red herring.  The fact
that it reported the sound card means that the device was probed and
attached.  This is more of a question of "how to I get sounds".  That
involves making the devices and setting up the software correctly.  You
also need to be concerned about IRQ conflicts.

There are several sound sub-systems in the pkgsrc.  Grab one of the mixer
programs.  The most common response for sound questions is that the mixer
volume levels are defaulting to zero, which means that the sounds are
there, just super quiet.
