I currently use NetBSD on a machine that acts as my internet gateway.
I've been looking into laptop purchases lately and I've reviewed the
FAQ files in preparation. I've got the following questions that don't
seem to be answered by the FAQ. I appreciatiate any answers anyone
can give:

1. What is the status of DVD support? Is it planned, coming soon,
never or what? Also, one of the manufacturers I'm interested in
refers to their DVDs as DVD/Es, so I wondered if anyone knows about
that specifically.

2. In general, are the "touchpad" or "glidepad" mice supported
devices? I wasn't sure if those mice act as regular mice from the
ponit of view of the OS.

3. I wondered if anyone had good or bad experiences with either the
Compaq Presario 1920 or the IBM Thinkpad 600E? I see that there are
special instructions for installing NetBSD on a Thinkpad, so I expect
it's basically a safe bet, but I thought it worth double-checking.

Thanks for any help!
