I just got an e-mail about another machine that had the date off by a day
(for some unrelated reason), and I remembered that I was logging the results
for timed.  I killed timed, and sure enough that was the process.  I'm using
newsyslog to rotate it's files.  Does timed not recognize the request to
close and reopen it's logs?
