I get this when I fsck our 23GB Seagate SCSI disk:

# fsck -f /dev/sd2c
** /dev/rsd2c
** File system is already clean
** Last Mounted on /usr/local/ftp/.4
** Phase 1 - Check Blocks and Sizes

CANNOT READ: BLK 1585072
CONTINUE? [yn] y

THE FOLLOWING DISK SECTORS COULD NOT BE READ: 1585154, 1585156, 1585157,
1585158
, 1585159, 1585162, 1585163, 1585164,
** Phase 2 - Check Pathnames
** Phase 3 - Check Connectivity
** Phase 4 - Check Reference Counts
** Phase 5 - Check Cyl groups
15000 files, 21018770 used, 933981 free (2861 frags, 116390 blocks, 0.0%
fragmen
tation)

How do I deal with this? Can I use the badsect(8) program or is that for
DEC (MSCP) disks only?

Gunnar
