While on the topic of 100 Mbps PCMCIA ethernet cards, I recently bought
a 3Com 3c574-TX 10/100 Mbps PCMCIA Ethernet Card, and tried it with the
current ep PCMCIA NetBSD drivers. During boot:

pcmcia0 at pcic0 controller 0 socket 0
pcmcia0: CIS version PCMCIA 2.0 or 2.1
pcmcia0: CIS info: 3Com, 3C574-TX Fast EtherLink PC Card, A, 001
pcmcia0: Manufacturer code 0x101, product 0x574
pcmcia0: function 0: network adapter, ccr addr 10000 mask 3
pcmcia0: function 0, config table entry 1: I/O card; irq mask ffff; iomask 5,
           iospace 0-1f; rdybsy_active wp_active bvd_active io8 io16 irqlevel
ep0 at pcmcia0 function 0 port 0x340-0x35f: 3Com 3c574-TX 10/100Mbps Ethernet
ep0: address 02:01:02:01:02:01, 64KB word-wide FIFO, 1:1 Rx:Tx split
ep0: manual (default manual)

Unfortunately, when it boots, ifconfig ep0 returns the error:

	 ifconfig: SIOCSIFMEDIA: Device not configured

Considering that the 3Com 3c589 and 3c562 PCMCIA Ethernet cards are
supported by NetBSD, is it feasible that NetBSD current might support
the 100 Mbps 3Com 3C574-TX PCMCIA card? The fact that NetBSD is able to
identify the card makes me suspect that this card doesn't use cardbus.
Is this true?

Thanks in advance. Sincerely, Alicia.
