Greetings.

Any hints on beefing network performance using 100base NetGear
cards?

Throughput is average, but under heavy load and multi-port network
applications, it starts to lag a bit and small amounts of packet loss
start to occur.

Someone mentioned permiscuous mode earlier. What are the
configuration flags and does anyone else know any other de0
"tricks" to smooth out performance? =)

My system boots as follows:
de0 at pci0 dev 9 function 0
de0: interrupting at irq 15
de0: 21140A [10-100Mb/s] pass 2.2
de0: address 00:40:05:a0:80:b8
de0: enabling 100baseTX port

and eventually, I get a few of these:
de0: abnormal interrupt: transmit underflow (raising TX threshold to 96|256)
de0: abnormal interrupt: transmit underflow (raising TX threshold to 8|512)
de0: abnormal interrupt: transmit underflow (raising TX threshold to 1024)

Any tips, tricks, pointers or insights will be greatly appeciated!

Cheers!
