It's the route entries, since ec0 and we1 were configured for
different addresses on the same network. But the card has proven
defective. The message I got apparantly did not indicate any serious
problem (I later got the card to ping itself), but I could'nt ping
anything on the ethernet because the card is dead.

So, I'll go and look for another replacement for my 1988 3C503 8 bit
network card that 'ring buffer overrun's me all the time.
