Yes, due to license restrictions.

Why should one want to do that? Package *sources* for "socks5" are
available. All you need to compile it is to enter this:

cd /usr/pkgsrc/net/socks5 && make install

BTW: could you please tell your mail program *not* to send out HTML mails?
