The next problem is harder.  What machine do you have.  I noted on IBM
701C's that after a suspend/resume, the disk saw an error, WDCE_MCR,
in wdcwait.  This is not reported out correctly and a number of things
go wrong ...  If this is your problem, I can give you a patch.
