Java works great for me.  Everything except sound and proxy runs on the Linux
Communicator 4.04 Java virtual machine, under i386 NetBSD 1.3.  (Of course
Java sound and proxy also doesn't work on native Linux OS as well.)  Anyways
just make sure you have *LOTS* of ram and you have you CLASSPATH environment
variable set up properly.  It's been a long time since my last Java crash,
and I build and run Java applets all the time on Communicator.  If you wish I
can send you the details of my Communicator setup under NetBSD.

BTW, I still haven't been able to run the calendar that comes with
Communicator
Pro.  Has anyone?  If so I would really appreciate the details of how you
were
able to set it up.
