Now I get the following messages:

 | (isapnp probe): Trying port 213
 | [...]
 | (isapnp probe): Trying port 3ef

and then the boot process continues as always. I guess this means the
system doesn't find my ISDN card. The card is definitely a PnP device,
as this is printed all over the board. So either my BIOS is doing
anything wrong, what is unlikely, or the card has PnP mode switched
off for some weird reason, what is unlikely, but not impossible as I
got it from a colleague at work and not directly from the vendor.

I think my best bet will be to get my hands on the ISDN-card software
and check the configuration of the card.
