How do the newer SiS PCI chipsets stack up against those from intel ?
Does anyone know if they have better/worse performance (aside being
able to run at 83MHz) or if RAM coverage by the cache is limited ?

Also, I'm seeing 83877 IO chips being advertised now with motherboards...
are they (backward) compatible with 16550 and/or have drivers available ?

Thanks,
Darren
