Hm, fun hub problem.

Topology:

	Thinkpad
	   |
	   | 10baseT
	   |
	Planet EH 1600 ethernet hub
	 | |
         | AUI | thinnet spaghetti
	 | |
        Fo Mau office LAN
	fibre transceiver
	 |
	 | fibre/copper juju
	 | across UNI-C campus
	 |
        gateway box
	some 3com ebola router

The rest of the world (the gateway box and everything
through it) works perfectly now. Thanks, Liman.

Traffic to the office LAN looks fine on all the office
LAN machines that can sniff.

Traffic from the office LAN looks fine on all the office
LAN machines that can sniff.

Traffic from the office LAN looks like garbage to the
Thinkpad.

Argh! Fun with diagnoses. Whee.

Anyway, my ethernet card works great now, so hopefully it
will like my Crashco 770 at home. :)

	Sean.
