I can't agree on this - yes, I saw the smiley.

Every additional network protocoll supported by Unix like operating systems
is a change to get rid of technical inferior operating systems like Novell
Netware or Windows.

If e.g. the Linux system at work wouldn't support IPX I couldn't print
from it and would have to use the Windows NT on my X11 terminal instead.
