If you follow the new, highend laptop market, you'd notice that
70-80% use a video chip made by Neomagic. It turns out that
XFree86 does not haver drivers for the card because the co.
requires a non-discloser. So you need to go to a commercial
Xserver co, like Xi. Xi provides servers for Neomagic cards
for Linux, FreeBSD, and BSDI. But they do not support a
NetBSD server. Has anyone tried to convince them that they
should?

Not being able to find important software for NetBSD, creates
a bad precedence.
