  I have decided upon GraphicVUE, http://www.nis.com/ 

  I will run it under Solaris, perhaps also under NetBSD/sparc Solaris
emulation. I'd prefer to run it under NetBSD/i386, perhaps under Linux
emulation. 

  They have hinted that they may do a Linux version. That sure would be nice,
as I was unable to find any project management software for Linux or
*BSD/i386. They probably just need a dozen customers to convince them...

  It is not as polished as I'd like, and I found a resize/redisplay bug, but
my schedules look correct, and it reads/writes Microsoft Project .MPX
files...

  I just I'd mention it.
